About Diana

Diana Abrashkin, the firm's principal, graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wellesley College, then studied historic preservation in Italy. After receiving an M.A. in architectural history from Harvard, she earned a Master of Architecture degree at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

A recipient of grants and fellowships from the Ford Foundation, National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Woodrow Wilson Foundation, she has been the principal designer on a variety of residential, institutional, commercial and landscape projects in Massachusetts and beyond. The Boston Globe and Boston Magazine have interviewed her on topics which range from designing for the elderly to integrating swimming pools with home and landscape.

In Lincoln, Diana is on the Wildlife Advisory Committee, a Trustee of the Public Library, and a volunteer at Drumlin Farm Sanctuary. In 2003 she started a research orchard where more than 300 back-crossed chestnut seedlings have been planted, as part of the ongoing effort to restore a blight-resistant American Chestnut tree to our forests.
